Korea Fits You Travel Seminar
What kind of a traveler are you? Are the spontaneous one who books their flight a week or less before the actual trip? Or the planner who loves organizing everything on a day-to-day basis? I confess that I am the planner kind of tripper. I want to maximize my time in a place that I’ve been planning to visit. I book my flight and accommodation months before, and make sure that I’ll be able to get the cheapest promotion for the major activities and tourist sites.
I had my first trip abroad this January which was planned months ago last year. And this year, God-willing (I hope I’ll be granted a visa), my 8-year winter wonderland dream of travelling to South Korea will finally happen
When I booked my flight in April 2018, I started reading A LOT of reviews, articles, and visited so many websites about that beautiful country. This made me stumble upon Korea Tourism Organization’s Korea Fits You travel seminar.
This quick but informative seminar happened last September 01 at the Mind Musuem Auditorium in Taguig City. The seminar was free but the registrants had to send proof of intent to travel to Korea from September 2018 up to the first quarter of 2019 to qualify.
Anyway, the guest speakers were South Korea enthusiasts who have been to SoKor for nearly 10 times already. They were Ms Aileen Rae Perez of GMA Network, Ms Ana Gonzales of anagonzales.com, and Ms Roocie of ruffeecola.blogspot.com. There were so many helpful tips imparted especially for the first timers, but I am sure that those who are going to SoKor for the second time or third time had fun and learned new things too from listening to their stories.
KTO-Manila Ambassador Jinho Bae performed three songs: 1 Filipino song, 1 English song, and 1 Korean song. His wit and humor surely captured the hearts of the participants! Also, the freebies is what made me super like the seminar – magazines with maps and discount coupons! Plus, the super yummy free snack box is a major thumbs up (who doesn’t like free stuff?)
All these leveled up my excitement a gazillion times!!! Can months fly triple fast now, please?

Hi guys! So I already applied for a South Korean visa and got approved!!! I am so happy that my dream will finally come true this December! Anyone going there too this winter? Let me know and let's share our preparation tips with each other. 😍
